Eco Centre Canopy Room, Nathan campus

The Canopy Room is used by Toohey Forest Environmental Education Centre for teaching visiting school and school age students. The successful partnership between Griffith University and the State Government Department of Education and Training has been in place for 20 years. More than 9000 school age students visit the EcoCentre each year. The Toohey Forest Environmental Education Centre is staffed by a combination of specialist primary and secondary teachers, with years of experience in delivering educational programs that meet the requirements of the Australian Curriculum (Science and Geography) and select Queensland senior syllabuses. The centre provides a range of day visit programs to students ranging from Prep to year 12.
