Engineering, Technology and Aviation building (N79) Soils Lab

The Soils Lab was designed to facilitate sieving and compaction testing, includes ovens for drying samples, a small furnace to take samples to even higher temperatures and soil testing machines. A fume cupboard and vacuum facility permits burning-off of the samples.
